Body Count Results

Well, nobody guessed the right kill count this week.

Tony took the prize with the only 3 kills of the episode.

We had 2 close guesses

i'll be sure to give credit for those close answers in the end of no winner @ the end of the season.

Jack is pissed and a little crazy.

Chloe is awkward...but not as bad as Janeane Garafalo. She needs to get Edgar'd.

Body Count results

We do not have a winner this week - By my count, there were 17 deaths. The agent in charge at the explosion stated there were 30 in the building at the time of the blast, with many survivors, i estimated 15 deceased on top of the other kills in the episode.

Bailey @ the Nennth Inning was closed with a guess of 12 kills - this will bring him extra consideration in the event of a tie or no winners @ the end of the season.

Kim named her kid Teri - thats nice

Winner this week gets a stack of 12 random Chrome/refracters from various 07/08 Topps products - there are definately some star players so this isnt just cleaning out the closet so to speak. Lets see what you guys thing? Can Duane nail it 2 weeks in a row?

OK - Everything is where it needs to be.

Cards are now in a much smaller closet.

I have too many of them.

over the next - however long it takes I'll getting rid of a lot of cards - mostly doubles and extras from old sets I'm working on - will be a lot of good starter sets if anyone is interested... I'll post more details as I get around to that.

I decided that last weeks contest winning would be 2 packs of 09 Heritage. Since I have yet to go back through all of my cards for next weeks prize - it will be a pack of 09 Topps Series 1 and 09 Ud series one.... so we have 4 packs on the table for next week now!. Official thread will be posted later tonight or tomorrow.

If I owe you my end of a trade - please shoot me an email or leave me a comment here - I have about 10 unopened packages yet from the move that is all cards - so it may still take me a bit - thats my project next week. Today, errands, tomorrow - Dynasty league auction draft, sunday - work. so really, I wont be back here until Monday and thats when it should be business as usual.

Body Count

Ok - My guiltiest pleasure is 24. You have all seen it, you know the drill, I bet a lot of you watch it. This Year, I wanted to run a body count of how many people Jack Bauer kills versus how many people die at the hands of anybody else. Now, I do think I will count and catastrophies like a nuclear bomb, only more singular gun shot/grenade type killings.

So after a weak premier movie, 24:Redemption

we have our first count.

Jack Bauer killed - 14 People
Everyone else killed - 11 People

I will keep a running total -

Now, When the season starts I may run some contests over who correctly guess and body counts before the show air time - and I will find some goodies to give out.. I will flesh this all out before the premier in January.
